If you have printer ink stained on your carpet I bet you know how much of a pain it is to clean. Chances are you have tried everything you can think of to remove it and no cleaner has worked. Well I will tell you exactly how to clean it in this article.

  1. Go to the store and buy a bottle of white vinegar and some sodium bicarbonate. Make sure you have a little time and a cloth ready.
  2. Pour a little vinegar on the stain and then wait about 5 seconds then pour a little of the sodium bicarbonate on the same spot. Do not pour to much as it is going to fizz up.
  3. Take the cloth and Dab at the stain. Do this until most if not all of the vinegar and sodium bicarbonate is soaked up. Then if the stain is still there repeat the process until it is completely removed.
    • Make sure you get all the sodium bicarbonate or baking soda off of the carpet
    • Dab up as mush as you can so that the carpet does not stay wet
    • For a really clean looking carpet shampoo after this process
    • Although this works for most carpets check to make sure that your type of fabric will not be damaged by vinegar or baking soda. You do this at your own risk as some carpets can be damaged from this procedure and to find out you will need to ask your local carpet installer. If you are still uncomfortable with attempting to remove the stain in this way the carpet installer should also know a way of removing this stain. However it will most likely be a costly service from the technician of the person you call so call around to make sure you are getting the best price on the removal of the stain.
