after charging the bold 9930 it powered down during the night - now will not power up shows a red slow flashing light Removed Battery then reinstalled

Does this happen both with and without the charger connected?
Yes this happens with or without the charge plugged in

Ok please try a static discharge. To do that unplug it and remove the battery. Wait 10 minutes and then with the battery still removed hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Insert the battery and try to turn it on.
