Well the first is that Mac OS X is a unix based operating system. Windows continuously changes it's architecture. They both use a different keyboard layout. Windows keyboards have a windows key where as mac keyboard have a command key.
Other than those two difference and the fact most people write viruses targeted for windows rather than mac they are pretty similar. Each platform has a way of doing something that can be done on the other just in a slightly different way, For example windows has a control panel where mac has system preferences in the apple menu.
